Artist Statement
I have loved art and creating things for as long as I can remember. My creativity has taken many forms throughout my life. Due to several life altering events and much encouragement from my family, I decided to try my hand at watercolor. After only one lesson I knew that I had found something special. Expressing myself through watercolor is at once satisfying and challenging. A learning process, unpredictable and liberating. Familiar things become fascinating. Vivid colors, intricate details, light and shadows, My great escape. |
